Modeling a human head

You can buy this model with paypal, click this for more imformation.

My recent work.

Intro:

In about 2006, I know that this kind of method (From a cger named ChenDaGang) to accomplish such a model, I spent a lot of the time but I did not achieve the desired effect (Curve adjustment, surface creation, etc.) , that made it impossible for me to go on.

Two weeks ago, I have time enough to do the work, Now I know that sort of work wants a lot of patience. And I am still working on it.

Chief method:

Draw the section curves, and then use loft to create the initial surface.[You can see the post modeling a human ear (by rubencito)]

*Divide the head into three parts(Upper lip/nose&Cheek&lower lip/chin)

Step1 Draw the center curve (Curve->Free-Form->Control Points)

Step2 Draw other Section Curves (Copy the previous curve and adjust)

Tips:

*In the process, u can use loft (loose option) to obtain a comparatively smooth surface, and then extract the isocurves as the section curves, u may adjust the curves later.

*If the points is not enough to express the shape, Insert knot(The Principle is all the curves must have the same number of points)

*make the best use of Record History

Do you have more pictures of this? I’m having a hard time making the sectional curves. If you could send me a model, I can work some sort of cash too.

Your link to purchase the model gives an error. Are you still selling this model?
